Windows 7 RTM Date July 13!

Windows 7 will be made available off shelf from October 22, 2009. That’s for sale to the public. This date does not apply to MSDN subscribers or TechNet subscribers!

Yay!

For us folks (MSDN / TechNet subscribers) Windows 7 RTM is expected to be made available in the week of July 13, 2009.

Bink reports that Microsoft has set July 13, 2009 as the “sign-off” date.

Sign off is the process where all divisions sign that they agree on the final code, which means the actual RTM build will be created a few days earlier, which is targeted on July 10th.
