MOSS: Scripted Installation Series Kickoff
Early last month, I had promised to blog about my MOSS scripted installation. Since then, I have read bits and pieces on the web, but nothing as comprehensive as this series. I promise. We have changed directions and I have learnt a lot on my way to this deployment. We are not 100% ready as yet.
If you see something in the method or script that is not right, please feel free to comment, so I can improvise on the process and in turn it will also benefit other readers.
There will be 2 series – MOSS Installation with SQL Express and MOSS Installation with SQL SERVER 2005. 100% Scripted.
In both cases, it will be in a single server environment. I will kick of the series with downloads required and then setup locations. Stay tuned. Starts tomorrow. Promise.
